Pregnant, beyond borders
Diana is expecting her first baby with her partner Daan. Like a lot of modern families, theirs is scattered across countries and time zones. Grandparents in one place, aunts and cousins in another, friends everywhere in between. A pregnancy this exciting deserved more than the occasional photo dropped into a group chat.
A group chat was not enough
She wanted everyone to feel part of it. Not as spectators watching from far away, but as family joining in, guessing, teasing, wishing, and counting down together. The distance was real, so the connection had to be intentional.
So she built a little world for it
One shareable link where anyone, anywhere, can guess the baby, leave advice and wishes, vote on which parent will do what, and play along. Everything is kept safe and opened together on the big day. It turns nine months of waiting into something the whole family gets to share.
I did not want our family to just hear about the baby. I wanted them in it with us, even from the other side of the world.
